A jealous man/woman is a dangerous man, it is allowed to be jealous especially when it has to do with what rightly belong to you but this should be done carefully so as not to end up where one does not desire just the way this woman is likely to end.

She has committed an offence of Murder, Murder according to Section 316 Criminal Code defined as the unlawful killing of another, that is the offender intends to do grievous harm to some person for the purpose of facilitating the commission of an offence which is such that the offender may be arrested without warrant, or for the purpose of facilitating the flight of an offender who has committed or attempted to commit an offence.

In DURWODU V. THE STATE (2001) FWLR PT 36 in a charge of murder, the burden is on the prosecution to prove that the deceased died, the death was caused by the accused, the accused intended to either kill victim or grievously harm him.

Once it has been proved that the act of the accused was intentional with the knowledge that it could cause grievously bodily harm or death, the criminal charge of murder will stand , it is immaterial that the accused doesn’t intent to kill the victim but to injure him/her.

Conclusively, it is important we stay away from violence as this cannot yield anything positive but further compound issues. Whoever unlawfully kills another shall be killed. BE WARNED
